Katz Is A Real Person!

Katzendragonz (Katz for short) is a personal "use" name that I choose because it represents so many things that are important to me. One, it is a combination of my two favorite animals cats and dragons. Say "cats and dragons" fast. Say it really fast. You get Katzendragonz. Two, it has the sound of German, which is part of my heritage. Three, I think it's just plain,lots of fun.

Cats and dragons figure heavily in most of my stories and I have large collections of cat things and dragon things. And of course I have a wonderful kitty living with me. Cats and Dragons are a vital part of just about eveything in my life.

I grew up in Southern California and currently live in one half of a 100 year-old duplex in a lovely old part of town with a silly, snuggly, rambunctions, orange kitten named Frasier Aloysius McKatt.

I love cats, dragons, roses, chocolate, tea, family, friends, sleeping late, square dancing, writing, walking, antiques, breakfast in bed, recumbent bike riding, old neighborhoods, trees, sunsets and moonlight, laughing, loving, and living. (That's all that comes to mind right now.)

When my daughter was thirteen she said to me, "Mom, people are either weird or boring, and you're the weirdest person I know!" I took that as a complement and I've been trying to live up it ever sense!

Life is a beautiful adventure and each day is meant to be lived and experienced to the very fullest.
